Michael Omenazu was most recently the Outreach Director at Panorama Education, a venture-backed education technology company where he assisted the executive leadership teams of the country’s largest and most diverse public school districts in drafting and achieving ambitious strategic plans and corresponding initiatives focused on advancing equity and inclusion. Additional cross-sector experience includes: talent recruitment for Leaderlink, a pipeline development program steering finance professionals from the private sector into roles at social impact organizations via the Robin Hood Foundation and Commongood Careers (now Koya Partners); evaluating the top civic-minded companies published within the Bloomberg Civic100; promoting the Aspen Institute’s Employer of National Service as a representative of AmeriCorps Alums; and oversight of the largest local site of a national nonprofit, the Family Independence Initiative —a Greenlight Fund venture philanthropy portfolio member and recipient of the MacArthur Genius award.
