Wim Jan Groothuijs currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Viscon Group since April 2023. Previously, Groothuijs held various senior roles at Helvoet Rubber & Plastic Technologies from April 2004 to April 2023, including Chief Commercial Officer, Commercial Director, and Managing Director. Groothuijs has a background in high precision polymer components for diverse markets such as HealthTech and Automotive. Prior to that, Groothuijs was the Chairman of Pensioenfonds Helvoet, a pension fund originating from Helvoet Rubber & Plastic Technologies, between June 2005 and April 2010. Groothuijs began a career at 3M as a Business Manager from July 1994 to April 2004. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology and additional education from INSEAD in 2011.
