Tarek Abdalla is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various renowned companies. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Visa since May 2023, Tarek previously held the position of Regional General Manager for Middle East, Africa, Türkiye, and South Asia at TikTok from 2022 to 2023. Tarek's tenure at Google from 2012 to 2022 encompassed several roles, including Regional Marketing Director for EMEA Emerging Markets and Marketing Director for the Middle East & North Africa. Additionally, Tarek served on the Board of Directors for Emaar Misr from 2015 to 2018 and has a rich background at Mars, where Tarek worked in various marketing capacities for over a decade. Tarek holds an MBA in Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University and advanced degrees in Integrated Marketing Communications and Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
