Shankar Giri is a seasoned technical program manager with extensive experience in leading complex projects across various industries. Currently serving as a Lead Technical Program Manager at Visa since October 2021, Shankar previously held the position of Engagement Portfolio Lead at Cognizant from September 2010 to October 2021, where responsibilities included managing multiple projects for a global restaurant client's eCommerce and Point of Sale systems. Prior to that, Shankar progressed from Associate in UST Global to Associate Consultant, leading projects for retail clients, including a Fortune 100 company. Shankar's career began at Fluentgrid Limited as a Software Engineer, ultimately taking on a senior role that involved leading the development of utility billing and customer relationship management software products. Shankar holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Madras and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Andhra University.
