Ritesh Thakur is an accomplished software engineer with experience in leading innovative projects and teams in various technical roles. Currently a software engineer at Visa since June 2024, Ritesh previously served as a lead software engineer at Convergent where Ritesh led the development of a Google Chrome extension for news summarization and bias evaluation using Natural Language Processing techniques and neural networks. Ritesh also holds experience from a software engineer internship at Visa, and from Texas Guadaloop, where Ritesh developed communication systems for Hyperloop projects using LabView and React. As co-founder and technology lead at Zenarc, Ritesh contributed to creating an educational platform for K-12 learning. Ritesh's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
