Vinson Koo has a range of work experience in web development and digital consultancy. Vinson started their career at the Legal Aid Society as an Assistant, conducting research and maintaining case records. After that, they gained experience as a Web Developer for various companies such as ZHW Shoes, Course Listings, and Black Women for Black Girls Giving Circle, where they were responsible for creating and redesigning websites. Vinson also worked as an Intern at Thefuture.fm, conducting quality assurance audits and populating databases. Their most recent role was as a Web Developer at RapidSOS, where they worked on full-stack development projects.

Vinson Koo attended the Polytechnic Institute of New York University from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In 2014, they attended General Assembly for a brief period to study Back End Web Development. Additionally, in October 2016, Vinson received a certification in Python from One Month.
