Lawson Lau is an experienced data science leader currently serving as the Vice President and Head of North America Data Science at Visa since April 2012, with previous roles including Senior Director and Director of Analytics within the same organization. Prior to Visa, Lawson worked at Booz & Company from 2008 to 2012, holding positions as Senior Associate and Associate. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at TELUS Communications from 2003 to 2006. Lawson Lau holds an MBA with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
