Ed Co-founded Virtual Internships alongside Daniel in 2018. Having seen the huge positive impact an internship could provide, and noticing the barriers to in-person internships in their previous company, creating Virtual Internships was a no-brainer. Ed is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds an MBA from Bayes Business School. Within Virtual Internships, alongside supporting the CEO, Ed is primarily focused on innovative partnerships and is particularly tenacious about the potential for remote work experience to level the playing field for under-represented communities. The growth in the numbers of program participants, the increase in host company partnerships, and the pioneering of new platform iterations are all allowing for greater impact to such communities. By leveraging industry know-how and new developments and trends, Ed engages with governments, charities and other institutions to push the boundaries of remote work experience.
