Sebastián Mesa Mejía has over 10 years of work experience. From 2010 to 2021, they have worked for MEYAN S.A. as an Assistant to Manager and later as the Director of Finance. From 2020 to 2021, they worked for Virtual Emily as the Chief Financial Officer and for Quala S.A. as Planeacion Financiera. From 2017 to 2020, they worked for Louis Dreyfus Company as a Financial Controller and from 2015 to 2017, they worked for Merrill Lynch as a Financial Analyst, where they focused on the family, goals and priorities of clients, provided excellent service with the purpose of building successful client relationships, and worked in the development of the "Ivy Portfolio" investment strategy. From 2014 to 2015, they worked for Tulane University as a Librarian and from 2013 to 2014, they worked for Mosaic Sales Solutions as a Dell campus ambassador.

Sebastián Mesa Mejía obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, General from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business between 2012 and 2015. Sebastián also obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Finance, General and Management from Tulane University between 2011 and 2015. In 2017, they obtained an Especializacion en Administracion Financiera in Finance and Financial Management Services from Universidad de Los Andes. In August 2020, they obtained a Statement of Accomplishment from NovoEd for Venture Deals Summer 2020. In September 2020, they obtained a Service Hub Software Certification from HubSpot.
