Shandran Thornburgh is an experienced professional in volunteer coordination and program management, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Executive Administrator at The Virginia Living Museum since August 2003, Shandran manages a volunteer program comprising over 450 individuals. Prior experience includes working as the Community Volunteer Coordinator for the City of Glendale, AZ, where Shandran established and administered a community volunteer program and facilitated collaboration among various stakeholders. Additionally, Shandran held the position of Director of Residential Living and Programming at the College of Charleston, overseeing multiple educational and service initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Student Development from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
