Stephen Beckett serves as the General Manager of Government & Industry Affairs at Virgin Australia since January 2024, and holds multiple significant roles including Chair of the Board of Advice for Lady Bowen Trust and State Councillor for the Public Relations Institute of Australia in Queensland. With extensive experience in public affairs and advocacy, Stephen held various leadership positions including Director of Government & Industry Affairs - APAC at the NeuroLeadership Institute, and Executive Director of Public Affairs, Partnerships & Advocacy at Act for Kids. An educator at The University of Queensland, Stephen has also contributed to the community as General Manager of Community Engagement & Cultural Services at Townsville City Council. Stephen's educational background includes advanced degrees in business and communication from QUT and a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Griffith University.
