Prior experience spans over three decades at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, where roles included Research Scientist, Strategy Coordinator, and Senior Advisor. Key responsibilities involved developing sustainability metrics to inform stakeholders about environmental performance in Canadian agriculture, and advising on research and technology strategies to enhance agroecosystem productivity and health. Educational background includes a PhD in Soil Science from Washington State University and a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Alberta.
