Clément Monteil has held a variety of roles in the research and development field. In 2022, they began as the Head of Research and Development at Virax Biolabs. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at LumiraDx as a Research Development Technical Manager and a Senior Research Development Scientist. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at University College Dublin from 2013 to 2015.

Clément Monteil obtained a Doctorat de philosophie in Chimie from Université de Caen Normandie between 2010 and 2013.
