Derek Watson has held various positions in the fire protection industry, including Fire Alarm Co-ordinator at Vipond Fire Protection Ltd. Derek also founded Watson CAD, providing design services to the construction sector. In addition, Derek worked as a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer, creating detailed drawings to British Standards. Prior to this, Derek was an Electrical Design Engineer at Cegelec NDT. Derek Watson is a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer with relevant education from Ballerup High School and Langside College.
