Therese McNamee is a highly experienced wildlife health research scientist and veterinarian currently working at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, VIP Petcare, and Vetco Clinics since 2022 and 2023, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as a Veterinary Medical Officer with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service from 2016 to 2022, and various roles such as Veterinary Student Volunteer and Research Assistant at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. McNamee holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Conservation Medicine from Tufts University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Philosophy with a minor in Environmental Science from Boston University.
