Jacob van Langen has over 18 years of experience in various roles. Jacob began their career in 2000 as a Protocol Manager at Advanced Cleanroom Microclean (ACM). In 2002, they were promoted to Director of Operations at the same company. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as an English Language Specialist at TongJi Medical College of HUST and a Senior Trainer at Linguaphone. In 2006, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Seastone LC, Manager/Owner at First Light Investments LLC, and Product Manager/Buyer at HandStands. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Director of Global Sourcing at DCWV Acquisition Corporation and Sourcing Director at American Crafts. Currently, they are the COO & Co-Founder of Viori Beauty, a start-up manufacturer of natural cosmetic products, where their responsibilities include sourcing and purchasing, and managing the team that produces the company's shampoo and conditioner bars.

Jacob van Langen attended Milton High School from 1993 to 1995, and then Brigham Young University to study Chinese.
