Bruce Ericson has over 25 years of experience in sales, sales management and business development. Bruce began their career in 1994 as Vice President of Global Sales at VenturCom, where they were the first sales executive and led sales and alliances, helping to grow revenue from $200K to over $25M. In 2002, they moved to Real-Time Innovations as Vice President of Global Sales, where they built global sales, channels and business development from the ground up for highly complex middleware / IoT solution sales. Bruce then moved to BAE Solutions in 2009 as a Principal, consulting with startups and SMBs on sales, sales management, and business development. In 2011, they joined NetBase Solutions, Inc. as Vice President of Global Sales, where they were a key member of the Executive Team leading global sales, business development, and services for a market leading mid-stage SaaS startup. Bruce then joined Azul Systems in 2012 as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, where they were responsible for the world's only company exclusively focused on Java and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). In 2014, they moved to CPLANE.ai as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, where they used a platform approach to simplify the enormous complexity of managing distributed clouds. In 2017, they joined Silicon Valley Sales Group, Inc. as Principal, where they were an executive coach for CEO's and sales leaders in technology companies. In 2018, they began working at Plug and Play Tech Center as Sales and Leadership Mentor. In 2019, they joined Matroid, Inc. as Head of Global Sales and Marketing, and most recently in 2021 they joined Vintra as Vice President of Global Sales.
Bruce Ericson holds an MBA from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, where they studied Marketing and Finance. Bruce also holds a BSEE from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Computer Science.
