Rod Simon possesses extensive experience in the manufacturing and tooling industries, with a strong focus on machine building, machining, welding, and fabrication. Currently serving as a Tooling Technician at Vintech Industries since April 2020, Rod has also held positions at Century Plastics CIE, where responsibilities included maintenance and automation. Previous roles include Tooling Technician and Injection Mold Repair at Mitchell Plastics, as well as maintenance technician positions at Cooper Standard Automotive and Gestamp Automocion. Rod's career began at Metamora Products, contributing to the design and maintenance of in-house equipment for over two decades. Educational credentials include attendance at Mott Community College and Macomb Community College, along with additional training at various technical centers.
