Troy Aydell began their career in 1998 as a Customer Engineer at Applied Materials, where they worked until January 2006. In 2008, Aydell joined Vinson Process Controls as a Project Manager/Outage Coordinator until June 2014. From there, they transitioned to the role of Account Manager at the same company, where they continue to work.

Troy Aydell attended Devry University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned an Associates degree in Electronics. Following this, they enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued Business Management but did not obtain a degree within the specified time period.
