David Bird is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Since February 2020, David has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Vinidex. Prior to this, David held the position of Regional General Manager at CSR Limited from 2015 to February 2020. David's earlier career includes significant roles at Boral, where responsibilities included General Manager of Boral Bricks and General Manager of Davis and Herbert, a subsidiary of Boral Limited. David also held the position of General Manager Corporate Development at Smorgon Steel and served as a Strategy Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Earlier roles include Corporate Development Manager at DS Smith Packaging and positions in Manager capacity at NatWest Markets Plc and Ernst & Young, focusing on corporate finance. David holds a qualification as a Chartered Accountant and received education from the University of Reading and ICAEW, along with a brief educational experience at Columbia Business School in October 2017.
