Thomas Atmer currently serves as the Environmental and Permit Compliance Manager at Vineyard Offshore, where responsibilities include leading environmental compliance for the Excelsior Wind and Vineyard Wind 2 survey campaigns and managing a team of compliance consultants while reporting to regulatory agencies such as BOEM and BSEE. Prior experience includes roles at Ørsted as an Environment and Permitting Specialist for the Skipjack Offshore Energy Project, as well as working with Tetra Tech as an Environmental Scientist and Planner, where project management and planning of sediment chemistry surveys were key duties. Thomas also contributed to research at Robbat Research Group and held educational roles at Tufts University, complemented by a diverse educational background that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Physics and Environmental Studies from Tufts University and a semester at Uppsala University in Art History.
