Tamas Illes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tamas started their career at Philips in 1998 as a Product/Project Engineer and worked there until 2001. Tamas then joined JOT Automation as a Service Engineer for a year before moving on to CASON Engineering Plc. as an Automation Engineer from 2002 to 2008. Tamas then worked at NokiaKom from 2008 to 2014 as a Program Manager. Tamas then joined Microsoft as a Program Manager for a few months before joining Sanmina in the same role from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Tamas is working at Vincotech as a Sr. Project Manager, responsible for managing projects and overseeing the product lifecycle management using the Oracle PLM system software.

Tamas Illes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Electrical Engineering at Janos Bolyai Military Technical College from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued an MSC degree in Information Engineering with a speciality in System Engineering in the module of Measuring Engineering at the University of Miskolc from 1999 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Tamas Illes has obtained several certifications. In 2001, they completed the Global 8D - Team Oriented Problem Solving & Process Improvement training provided by Valbridge Holding Plc, Valid Group, Valkes, Valbridge International, and Valid Management Academy. In 2009, they received certification in Lean Management from Kvalikon Kft. Furthermore, Tamas Illes has completed training in Fundamentals of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Minőségttervezés, Minőségfejlesztés, Transformational thinking, and Project Management. These certifications were obtained from various institutions such as Valbridge Holding Plc, Valid Group, Valkes, Valbridge International, Valid Management Academy, KÜRT Akadémia, Vincotte International Hungary Kft., and TEQUA International Kft.
