Hector Recio started their work experience in 2007 as a Business Consultant at Indra Business Consulting. Hector worked there until February 2009. In March 2009, they became the CEO of VINCLE, a company that specializes in providing technology, services, and knowledge to help businesses grow. Hector has been with VINCLE ever since. In February 2012, they also founded and became the CEO of Management Intelligence Consulting.

Hector Recio completed their undergraduate education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering. Hector attended this institution from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, they have furthered their education by attending Esade for a program in Finance for Directors, although the specific dates of enrollment are not provided. Lastly, they attended IESE Business School for the Programa Dirección General (PDG) in 2016, but the duration of this program is not specified.
