Elli Kantanen has a diverse work history with experience in various roles. They started their career as a Tutor for international students at the University of Jyväskylä, where they helped new international students settle into campus life and navigate their studies. They also worked as a Teacher of Economics, creating materials and lecturing on economic theories at Pörssi - Jyväskylän yliopiston kauppakorkeakoulun opiskelijat ry.

Moving into the corporate world, Elli took on the role of Customer Service and later became the Customer Service Team Manager at Nordic Business Forum, where they co-led a team of 60 people and achieved high customer satisfaction ratings.

They then held the position of Team Finland Intern at the Consulate General of Finland in LA, organizing business events, managing social media, and conducting market research.

Elli later joined Dressmann AS as a Sales Associate, where they received recognition for exceptional sales and trained new team members.

In 2018, Elli took on multiple roles simultaneously. They became a Group Lead at Slush, a startup and tech event, where they led a team responsible for taking care of speakers and investors. They also worked as a Project Manager at Innovestor, planning and executing go-to-market programs for Finnish growth companies. Additionally, Elli was a Research Assistant at ETLA, examining the impact of artificial intelligence and automation on labor markets.

In 2020, Elli joined Shuup as the Technical Sales Director, where they identified sales opportunities in e-commerce and significantly increased sales compared to the previous year. They also briefly worked as an Account Manager at Shuup.

Currently, Elli is employed at Vincit as a Passionate Account Manager, responsible for nurturing client relationships, developing digital strategies, and proposing solutions for clients' digital needs. They also contribute to product management, project management, and process improvements.

Throughout their career, Elli has demonstrated strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for customer service and promoting business growth.

Elli Kantanen completed their high school education at Jyväskylän Normaalikoulun lukio from 2007 to 2010. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Jyväskylä from 2011 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Science degree. During their time at the University, Elli also participated in an exchange program at the University of Bern from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Business and Economics.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Elli Kantanen has obtained several certifications. They completed "The Non-Technical Skills of Effective Data Scientists" course from LinkedIn in July 2022. They also completed "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" course from the University of Helsinki in April 2022. Furthermore, Elli obtained certification in "Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud" from Atlassian in November 2021. In April 2021, they completed the "Ecommerce: Scoping Projects" course offered by LinkedIn Learning. Lastly, Elli obtained certification in "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google Analytics in February 2020.
