Ron Scherer has a diverse range of experience in the sales and marketing industry. Ron began their career as a Category Development Manager at SUPERVALU, where they developed regional plans, managed broker relationships, and implemented promotional strategies. Ron then worked as a Business Development Manager at Acosta Sales & Marketing, overseeing retail teams and achieving sales goals. At Johnsonville, Ron held the role of National Sales Manager, utilizing data analysis to drive sales growth and negotiating strategic partnerships. Ron later joined Campbell Soup Company as a Senior National Account Manager, establishing strong relationships with key accounts and analyzing performance metrics. Ron's most recent position was as a Consultant at It's Fresh!, where they maintained important relationships and assisted in the company's growth strategy. Currently, Ron is the Sales Development Director at Villita Avocados, where they are responsible for developing growth strategies and managing customer relationships for a new brand of guacamole.
Ron Scherer earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Finance from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Branding Foundations, Communicating with Confidence, Executive Leadership, Influencing Others, Strategic Planning Foundations, and a Business Insights Black Belt Level 1 Certification.
