Luciana Maxim is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in program management, monitoring and evaluation, and research in global health initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Quality and Impact at VillageReach, Luciana leads efforts to enhance lab sample transportation in multiple countries to accelerate polio eradication. Prior roles include Senior Manager for Research, Evidence and Learning at VillageReach, and Program Manager at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where Luciana managed significant budgets and multiple health projects. Luciana has also contributed as a Senior Technical Advisor at Management Sciences for Health, focusing on malaria and supply chain management, and has held positions at USAID, International Partnership for Microbicides, and CIGNA. Luciana's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Relations from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Francophone & Italian Literature from Hamilton College.
