Ernie Papucci has extensive experience in building maintenance and tool and die supervision. Currently serving as a building coordinator for the Village of Niles, IL since May 2006, Ernie oversees repairs across various systems, including plumbing and HVAC, while also supervising custodial staff in a fitness center. Prior to this role, Ernie worked as a tool and die supervisor at Wisconsin Tool for 17 years, managing the construction and repair of tools and dies, and troubleshooting press room operations. Ernie began a career as a die repairman at Sola Electric, where tool and die repairs and some new construction were undertaken. Educational qualifications include a certified building operator credential from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance and training as a tool and die apprentice.
