Peter Cahill is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Manager for the Village of Glendale Heights since July 2023. Prior roles include Director of Administrative Services at the Hoffman Estates Park District, where Peter led human resources and risk functions, and Assistant Superintendent of District Services and Projects at the Palatine Park District, overseeing similar functions. Earlier experience includes positions as a Management Analyst for the Village of Buffalo Grove and Special Projects Coordinator for the Village of Shorewood, Wisconsin, where Peter managed various initiatives and communications. Peter’s career in public administration began as a Management Intern at the Village of River Forest. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Lake Forest College, and certifications as a Certified Inclusivity Assessor and Certified HR Professional.
