Cheryl Backhaus is an experienced accounts manager currently overseeing revenue processes and procedures for the Finance department at the Village of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, since July 2021. Prior to this role, Cheryl spent 13 years at Adtalem Global Education, where positions ranged from Student Finance Advisor to Director of Operations. In the Director role, Cheryl centralized business functions to improve compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while managing a team of over 75 colleagues. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Calvin University and an MBA in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
