Ellen F. is an accomplished real estate and development professional with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Development at Villa since September 2023, Ellen focuses on modular, pre-fabricated offsite construction and scaled development in infill neighborhoods. Previously, as Vice President of Real Estate at Bungalow from July 2021 to July 2023, Ellen successfully prototyped and scaled an automated single-family rental acquisition platform while managing a 22-member team. Ellen also held positions at Starcity, where responsibilities included capital markets and project management for purpose-built co-living, and Ollie, where the focus was on developing mixed-use co-living properties. Additional prior experience includes roles at Mack Real Estate Group, JLL, and Nexus Planning & Research, emphasizing development, asset strategy, and climate mitigation planning. Ellen holds a Master of Urban Planning from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
