Margie Brand is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director at Vikāra Institute since January 2022 and as Co-Chair for the Market Systems Symposium since March 2018. Previously, Margie was an Initiator, Director, and Board Member for EcoVentures International from 2002 to February 2022. Additionally, Margie held various consultant roles across multiple organizations, including Heifer International, RTI International, BEAM Exchange, CGAP, Adam Smith International, DAI, and USAID, all between 2016 and 2019. Margie holds a Business Science degree with a focus on Economics from the University of Cape Town, completed in 1995.
