Isaac Kern has a long and varied work history, beginning in 1996 when they were an Assistant Site Director at the YMCA of Honolulu - Nu'uanu Branch. In 2006, they moved on to become an Assistant Manager at Walgreens Company, and in 2007 they became an Advertising Assistant at The Center for Legal Studies. In 2008 they were hired as a Sales Manager and Account Manager/Sales Representative at TruGreen. In 2011, they became an Account Executive at Target Media Partners. In 2014, they joined Yelp as a Sales Manager, Elite Account Director, and User Operations Team Lead. In 2019, they took a sabbatical leave and became a Global Citizen and World Traveler. In 2020, they began working as an Independent Business Consultant and also joined Viewabo as a Director of Operations - Sales and Client Success, as well as an Account Operations Manager, where they oversaw all account-facing operations and worked directly with the CEO and other department leaders.

Isaac Kern obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado. Isaac then studied Political Science and Government at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Lastly, they obtained a High School Diploma from Mid-Pacific Institute.
