Huan Nguyen is an undergraduate researcher at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, engaged in reviewing open courseware and K-12 curricula while interviewing professors for insights. As a Youth Lead with the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, Huan has executed youth leadership training programs and developed creative lesson plans for large groups. Huan also serves as a Confirmation Catechist at Vietnamese Martyrs Parish, conducting weekly lessons for over 60 children. Previous roles include an Educator at Right At School, a Swim Instructor at SafeSplash Swim Schools, a Social Media Intern at Washington State Community Connectors, and participation in various STEM-related internships. Huan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Washington, building on a solid educational background that includes experience at Bellevue College and a high school diploma from Hazen Senior High School.
