Prof. Mario Steller is a distinguished figure in the operatic and musical education scene, currently serving as the Artistic Director of the Choir Academy at the Wiener Staatsoper since September 2020 and as a lecturer at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien since February 2017. With a long-standing affiliation with the Vienna State Opera since 1992 as a chorus member, Steller has held various significant positions, including Chairman of the Council of the Performing Artistic Staff. Steller previously led several music production companies, including Steller Music Group International and Voiceart Records, from May 2001 to October 2020. Steller's educational background includes a Diplom in Singing and Opera from the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, where Steller also served as a voice teacher from 1985 to 1992. In addition, Steller is actively involved in unions supporting performing artists in Austria.
