Gabriel Roland is an experienced professional in the design field, currently serving as Director, Vice Director, and Project Manager at VIENNA DESIGN WEEK since March 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating contributions from external designers and institutions. Prior to this, Gabriel worked as a Freelance Editor at Collectors Agenda, conducting interviews with contemporary artists and collectors from January 2016 to May 2021. Additional roles include Concept & Sales at Biorama GmbH, Assistant to Mr. Tyrrell at ST Design - The Room, intern positions with Anna Aichinger and Sisters Gulassa, and educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Fashion & Textiles and a BA (Hons.) in Textile Design from the University of Derby, along with a Diploma in Textile Design from Kolleg für Kunst und Design - Textildesign, HTBLVA Spengergasse.
