Alena Schmuck is a seasoned project manager and communications expert with a strong focus on multimedia and digital design, currently working at the Vienna Business Agency since June 2014 to enhance the visibility of Vienna's creative industries on both national and international levels. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Manager and Editor at freims:, Project Coordinator for the Content Award Vienna at ZIT - The Technology Agency of the City of Vienna, and Managing Editor at inventures.eu. Additionally, Alena has freelanced as an editor and translator and served in various capacities at the University of Vienna and the Presidential Council on Nation Branding. Alena holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies from the University of Vienna and has pursued studies in Korean Language at Sogang University and in Media and Communication Studies at Karlstad University as part of Erasmus.
