Artie Ramsodit is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Senator in the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal since June 2023, Artie is also the owner and founder of CitySolutions.nl, an R&D bureau specializing in action research. Additional leadership positions include membership on the Raad van Commissarissen for Zorg en Zekerheid and Vidomes, and as a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Leiden University of Applied Sciences, Zonova, and Open Schoolgemeenschap Bijlmer. Previously, Artie was the Program Director for the House of Skills initiative at the Amsterdam Economic Board and a board member for Dock. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Humanities from Tilburg University and master's degrees in international law and public administration from the University of Amsterdam and University of Twente, respectively.
