Deepa Padmar is a Senior Resident Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy since June 2021, with prior experience as a Research Fellow. Deepa has interned at various esteemed organizations, including Aapti Institute, where research focused on data stewardship models, and the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, addressing issues related to real estate and the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable communities. Deepa's internships also include roles at the Centre for Law and Policy Research, Law Chambers of Senior Advocate Prashant Bhushan, Trilegal, NDS Law Partners, Panag & Babu, Bangalore Mediation Centre, and The Hindu, encompassing a wide range of legal research topics such as data protection, constitutional law, and arbitration. Deepa holds a B.A. LLB. (Hons) from Christ University, Bangalore, obtained in 2021.
