Lieve Fransen is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in policy advising and board membership across various organizations. Currently serving as an advisory council member for VODAN Africa, senior policy advisor for the VacTask Initiative, and board member for the African Public Health Foundation, Fransen is actively focused on improving health data infrastructure and vaccine manufacturing in Africa. Fransen also contributes as a senior policy advisor for the European Policy Centre and as a board member for Video Volunteers, emphasizing social change and health initiatives. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Ghent University and a Ph.D. in Social Policies and Public Health from the University of Antwerp.
