Hyowon Rachel Yoon has a diverse work experience. Hyowon Rachel started their career as a Court Intern at the Municipal Court of Seattle in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Intern at IBM Korea. Later, they joined Text100 as an Account Manager and worked there from 2008 to 2011. In 2009, they also worked as a Weekly Radio Reporter at Busan eFM Radio. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Senior Account Executive at Brodeur Partners. Hyowon Rachel then joined UL as a Communication Specialist and worked there from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are working as a Marketing Communications Manager at Victrex, specifically in the Global Energy & Industrial and Electronics Business Units.

Hyowon Rachel Yoon has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Hanyang University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008. Hyowon Rachel also completed an Intensive Academic and Business English Program at the University of Washington from 2006 to 2007. In addition, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law at Korea National Open University from 2008 to 2022.

Aside from their formal education, Yoon has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they earned a certification in Design Your First Infographic from LinkedIn. In 2021, they completed certifications in How to Tell Stories That Win Market Share from LinkedIn as well as Email Marketing and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy. Hyowon Rachel further expanded their skill set in 2023 by earning certifications in Foundations of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Generative AI for Digital Marketers, and Leading Your Team Through Change, all through LinkedIn.
