Cressida Hancock has extensive experience in the chemical industry, with a focus on product management and process development. Cressida is currently working as a Product Manager at Victrex, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they were employed by Innospec Inc. for 12 years, where they held two roles. From April 2018 to February 2022, Cressida served as a Product Manager - Personal Care, EMEA, responsible for managing a portfolio of specialty and commodity chemicals. Before that, from April 2010 to March 2018, they worked as a Process Development Chemist, overseeing the development and manufacture of new products at various sites worldwide. Cressida also gained experience as a Development Chemist at Shasun Pharma Solutions from October 2006 to March 2010, and as a Synthetic/Development Chemist at Almac Group from May 2005 to October 2006.

Cressida Hancock obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree, earning a Master of Chemistry (MCHEM) from the University of Leicester between 1997 and 2001. In addition to their formal education, Cressida obtained a certification in Microsoft Project for the Web for Practitioners from Wellingtone in May 2023.
