Simone O'Brien is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Clinical Services at the Australian Cannabis Nurses Association since December 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, Simone has held various roles, including Nurse Practitioner at Heathcote Health since October 1997 and Bendigo Health since August 2012, as well as Forensic Nurse Examiner at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine since February 2007. Simone also contributed to clinical education at Aged Care Mentors from July 2018 to December 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Nursing from LaTrobe University, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Nursing from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Midwifery from LaTrobe University, and a Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University.
