Dimitri Gerostamoulos is a seasoned professional in forensic science with extensive experience at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine (VIFM) since 1990. As the Head of Forensic Science at VIFM since February 2015, Dimitri manages various forensic disciplines, including toxicology, molecular biology, and histology. Additionally, Dimitri serves as the Chief Toxicologist and Toxicologist at the same institute, specializing in routine forensic toxicology. Academically, Dimitri holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Forensic Toxicology from Monash University, earned between 1992 and 1996, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Pharmacology from Monash University, completed between 1987 and 1990.
