Maximilian Wdowski has a diverse range of work experience. Maximilian started their career as a Tennis Coach at D.C. Tennis Ltd. in 2005 and worked there until 2011. From 2010 to 2014, they held multiple roles at Cardiff Metropolitan University, including Technician Demonstrator in Sport Biomechanics and HPL Lecturer.
In 2014, Wdowski joined Imperial College London as a Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Coordinator, where they worked until 2017.
After that, they worked at Coventry University from 2017 to 2022. At Coventry University, they held various positions, including Assistant Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, and Course Director BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science.
Currently, Wdowski is working as a Development Project Manager at Vicon, starting in 2022. In this role, they manage the research and development of the latest motion capture technologies, utilizing their skills in Agile methodologies and various frameworks such as DevOp, MLOps, and Data Driven Scrum.
Maximilian Wdowski has a diverse education history. In 2020, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education from Coventry University. Prior to that, they completed their PhD in Biomechanics at Cardiff Metropolitan University, graduating in 2014. Maximilian began their undergraduate education at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 2007 and earned a BSc (Hons) 1st Class degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2010.
In addition to their formal degrees, Maximilian has also acquired several certifications. In March 2020, they became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. More recently, in April 2023, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. Alongside these, they have also obtained numerous certifications in Agile methodologies and software development from LinkedIn and Canvas Credentials (Badgr) in 2022.
This combination of formal education and certifications demonstrates Maximilian's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in various fields related to higher education, leadership, life skills, biomechanics, and software development.
