Rachel Murphy is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in media and public relations. Currently serving as External Communications Manager at the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) since March 2017, Rachel has held multiple roles within the organization, including Acting Communications Manager and Principal Media Advisor. Prior experience includes serving as PR and Media Coordinator at the Stroke Foundation and Communications Advisor at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Victoria). Rachel's expertise encompasses developing media strategies, managing media inquiries, creating engaging content, and maintaining relationships with journalists and stakeholders. With a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) from La Trobe University, Rachel consistently identifies and seizes proactive media opportunities.
