Brian Vicente is a seasoned attorney and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the cannabis industry. As the Co-Founder and President of the National Hispanic Cannabis Council since June 2020, Brian plays a pivotal role in promoting equity within the sector. Brian has been a Partner at Vicente LLP since July 2010, assisting clients in launching and growing marijuana businesses domestically and internationally. Additionally, as a Co-Founder of Leafwire, VS Tech Ventures, and Simplifya, Brian contributes to various initiatives in the cannabis space. Serving as Principal at VS Strategies since 2014, Brian advises on sensible marijuana laws for state and federal governments. Earlier in the career, Brian was the Executive Director of Sensible Colorado, advocating for effective drug policy. Brian holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grinnell College.
