Maryna Shabalina has a diverse background in software development, with experience in various roles and technologies. Maryna is currently working as an Elixir Developer at Vic.ai, where they help to digitally transform accounting and finance through AI technology. Prior to joining Vic.ai, Maryna worked as an Elixir Developer at proSapient, contributing to the development of software solutions. Maryna also served as a Senior Software Consultant (Elixir) at Binariks Inc. and as a Senior Software Engineer (Elixir) at Edenlab LLC. Earlier in their career, Maryna gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer (Erlang) at Infopulse and as an Erlang Developer at Authenticateit. Maryna also worked as a Database Engineer - DBA (PostgreSQL) at Infopulse and as a DBA Consultant at adPhone. Maryna started their professional journey as a Software Engineer (Erlang) at BetInvest Ltd. and as a Software Engineer (C++, Qt) in various freelance projects.

Maryna Shabalina attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process, Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Foundations, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure. These certifications were obtained from Coursera Course Certificates between November 2019 and January 2020.
