Eric Gustafson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and cloud technologies. Currently serving as Sr. Principal Engineer at Viasat Inc. since 2017, Eric leads the Key/Value Store project, a critical multi-site service for next-generation ground systems, and has contributed significantly to various platform and infrastructure roles. Eric's previous roles include architecting solutions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and managing a DevOps team at HP Cloud Monitoring. With a strong background in developing innovative software systems and leading technical teams, Eric has played pivotal roles in multiple organizations, including Melodeo, Continuous Computing, and Vsys, while also sharing knowledge as a part-time instructor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Valparaiso University.
