Tracy Walter, PE, is a Senior Transportation Engineer at VIAS Infrastructure, PLLC since June 2023. Prior to this role, Tracy served as a Project Manager at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson from January 2023 to June 2023 and held the same title at Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers from February 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included GESC structure plan review. Tracy has extensive experience at Michael Baker International as a Project Manager focusing on bridge replacement and road widening projects from November 2017 to February 2019, and over 27 years at NCDOT, culminating as Project Planning Engineer from July 2005 to October 2017, overseeing major road and bridge projects statewide. Educationally, Tracy holds an Associate's degree in Architectural Drafting and Architectural CAD/CADD from Pitt Community College, obtained between 1984 and 1986.
