Nim Bogga-Purohit has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Project Assistant and Work Controller at Heidelberg in 2003. They then worked as a Visitor Experience Advisor at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they held various roles at Foxtons, including Corporate Receptionist and Training and Development Specialist. They gained further experience as an Assistant and Administrator with short-term assignments in the oil and gas industry and the hospitality industry from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Team Assistant at Robert Half and then as a Personal Assistant to the Financial Controller at Walgreens Boots Alliance. In 2016, they became an Assistant to the Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Leadership team at UKTV. Since 2017, Nim has been working at Viaplay Group, initially as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO and later as the Head of CEO Office and Executive Support.

Nim Bogga-Purohit attended Brentford School for Girls from 1996 to 2003, where they completed their high school education. They then enrolled at Aberystwyth University from 2003 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Drama, Film and Television.
